Click on the movie to play. It looks like a spreading plague or something.

I find it interesting that the places where people leave their home towns for; such as New York, New York, to start their life and careers, are the places that were hit the hardest with unemployment.
Does that mean instead of looking for a high class job on the coasts I should turn to farming in Nebraska?

This is a startling video to the reality that is the growing rate of unemployment in our country at a staggering rate. The United States is experiencing a snowball effect with unemployment, one industry after another. I find it interesting to pinpoint each industry to its demographic on the map; such as the Detroit auto industry after 2008 produces massive purple and grey dots signifying a rate of 7.0 to 10.0% unemployment. Who knows how long it will take for the entire country to be in the grey zone.

I think that it is unfortunate for college graduates and other adults who are looking for jobs and cannot find one because of such a bad recession we are in right now. I hope that by the time I am out of college that times turn around, expeically because we live in one of the states that turned dark (have high unemployment) even more than the worst rates in the middle of the state.
