How could people can earn more than 100 billion dola????????? At this time, i think nobody can earn more money than Bill Gate; It is impossible,but if it is possible, how do you do it?
Having Bill Gates be #13 shows that you don't need to be extreemly smart to become rich. Yes, Bill Gates is smart but he dropped out of harvard and then discovered microsoft.
To respond to a previous comment I think that Bill Gates being in Harvard period says he was very smart to begin with. So we have to allow that while you don't need to go to college it does help to be intelligent. But you should still go to college.
But I also think Bill Gates came along at the right time and that helps a lot.

John D Rockefeller had 305 billion dollars. Ithought Bill Gtes was the richest American of all time but boy was I wrong.
